WHO IS CARL?
Quantitative trading expert and algo developer
I’m a Stockholm-based quantitative trading enthusiast and algo developer with a background in data science. My trading journey took a pivotal turn in 2014 when I started transitioning from manual trading to algo trading. After years of grinding trading charts, I built my first algorithms that quickly proved more consistent and effective than my manual trading. This eventually led me to create start an algo trading business that I've been running for 8 years now. TradesByCarl which is an extension of that was launched in late 2024, with the goal to help traders grow their portfolios by copying my trades - trades based on reliable, backtested trading strategies.
When I’m not trading or coding, I develop crypto currencies or spend time on the golf course, or out skiing. You might also see me doing guest lectures on algorithmic trading - sharing ideas and insights with other traders. For me it’s about making profitable trading accessible for anyone looking to reach their financial goals.
